Ronald L. Quinn

1952 ~ 2017

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Ron in his sleep on April 5th, 2017. He is survived by his loving wife of 41 years Margaret, their two daughters; Sandra Wurst (Steve), grandchildren Kyle and Jessica, and Tracie Samphire (John), grandsons Dylan and Jake, his mother-in-law Rose Brule, sister-in-law Mildred Thir (Al) and brother-in-law Lloyd Derish (Kim). He is also survived by 5 siblings; Jackie, Ken (Laurie), Cheryl, Sandra Barker (Gary), Lawrence (Lorna), aunts, uncles, numerous cousins, nephews and nieces. He was employed with the Abbotsford School District as a bus driver and he loved his job and all the children. Prior jobs were owning and operating M&R Woodturning for 20 years and running his Fish & Chip restaurant. Ron loved life and nature and his passions were ocean fishing, scuba diving, and raising beef. Words cannot express how much he was loved and respected and we will truly miss him. The family wants to thank the first responders, neighbours and friends for their kindness and prayers. On Saturday, April 22, 2017 between 12:00 and 2:00 we will have a gathering of family and friends at Prairie Chapel, 1929 Interprovincial Hwy. in Abbotsford. In lieu of flowers we ask you to consider a donation to a charity of your choice.
