DYCK; ROBERT ROSS

Robert Ross (Bob) Dyck was born September 19, 1918 and was the one of 10 children born to A.B. & Catherine Dyck. He went to be with his loving Lord on September 24, 2008 at the age of 90 years, after a 1 year battle with cancer. Bob was a man of many talents, including builder, land developer, realtor. He was instrumental in the development of Garden Park Tower in Abbotsford and volunteered his time and talents there for many years. He was a man of integrity, humility, kindness and had a wonderful sense of humor. He is survived by his loving wife of almost 66 years, Florence Ruth; 3 children - daughter Darlene (Kenneth) Epp, son Keith (Beryl) Dyck, daughter Bonnie Borseth; grandchildren - Karyn (Steve) Onsorge, Jason (Emmy) Epp, Kevin (Paula) Epp, Angela Dyck, Robert Dyck, Shari (Aron) Dick, Paul (Tanya) Borseth; Great-grandchildren - Madeleine, Chloë, Gavin, Ashley, Kiana, Olivia, Nolan, Tara Lynn & Dominick; 2 sisters - Margaret Mitchell and Esther Whitehead, and many nieces and nephews. He is pre-deceased by his parents Abram and Catherine Dyck; brothers Jake, Ben, Abe and Don; sisters Sarah, Kaye, and Orpha. Viewing: Thursday October 2nd at 6-7 PM at Garden Park Tower, Azalea Room, 2825 Clearbrook Road, Abbotsford. Memorial Services to be held: Friday October 3rd at 1 PM at Chilliwack Alliance Church, Rev. Albert Josephson officiating and Saturday October 4th at 1 PM at Garden Park Tower in Abbotsford, Rev. Walter Wiens officiating. In lieu of flowers please sponsor a child or make a donation to World Vision. www.WorldVision.org. Bob & Florence have "raised" at least 3 children through World Vision, providing food, clothing and schooling to children from Asia, Guatemala and Africa.
