Robert Overton
It is with great sadness we announce the passing of this gentle soul. Robert "Bob" Overton of Abbotsford, BC passed away on Saturday, December 17th, 2016 at the Abbotsford Regional Hospital. It was his 76th birthday. Bob suffered for many years from COPD. Bob was born in Penticton, BC on December 17th, 1940 to Cliff and Hilda Overton. He moved from Penticton to Williams Lake with his family as a young boy. On April 1, 1961 Bob married Patricia Bell in Williams Lake, BC. Bob spent many years driving a propane truck in Williams Lake and then for Cigas Propane in Abbotsford and Coquitlam. Bob retired in 2000. Bob was a loving husband, father and grandfather. A kind gentle soul loved by many, liked by all. He was an animal lover and we are sure that he is enjoying reuniting with all of his special pets that passed before him. Bob was predeceased by his parents and his brother Frank. He is survived by his wife Pat of 55 years, his son Brian (Misty), daughter Brenda (Greg), 5 grandchildren; Candice, Kaylim (Victoria), Matthew, Holden, Katie Anne as well as his nieces and nephews.
