Bob, born in Vancouver, BC on May 1, 1948, passed away Thursday, August 3, 2006 at Crossroads Hospice in Port Moody.

Predeceased by his brother David (1963), mother Bessie (1992) and father Neil (1993).

He was a beloved father, husband, brother, uncle and treasured friend. He leaves to mourn, his high school sweetheart, best friend and loving wife of 35 years, Janice and faithful companion dog, Leksi; his two cherished sons, Kris in Vancouver, Pat (Jennifer and Donovan) in Barrie, Ontario; sister, Linda (Peter) Robson and brother, Bill (Linda), in Mission; mother-in-law Katie Horvath in Abbotsford, as well as many nieces, nephews and in-laws.

Bob grew up in Mission, BC and had just one employer all of his adult life (BC Hydro) where he made many friends. He spent his leisure time golfing, loved watching TV and going to the movies. He was an incredibly kind and generous loving man. His family and friends will miss his massages, hugs and treats, especially at Christmas and most of all, his happy personality.

Throughout his courageous battle with cancer, Bob always maintained a positive attitude and amazing sense of humor.

A celebration of Bob's life will be held at Burkeview Family Funeral Home, 1340 Dominion Avenue, Port Coquitlam on Friday, August 11 at 10:00 a.m.

No flowers by request. Donations may be made to BC Cancer Society or Crossroads Hospice Society in Port Moody.
