Mr. Reinier Peters passed away peacefully into the loving arms of his lord on September 25, 2004 after a long and courageous battle with cancer. Born in Rotterdan, Holland on October 18, 1922. He is survived by his loving wife Adrianna of 57 years. Also survived by his children Roy (Barb), Jenny (Jim), Jhon (Vicki), Matt (Pearl), Rachel (Steve), 26 grand-children and family in Holland.
Dad’s love of his family, friends, music and carvings were all a special joy in his life and he was forever grateful to his lord for these blessings. Even while struggling, his strong faith and knowledge of a better life to come gave him such peace in his final hours. Our thanks to the many friends for their love and support to Dad and our family through these difficult times.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, September 29th at 1:00pm at Emmanuel Free Reformed Church, 3386 Mt. Lehman Road, Abbotsford.
