DOBELL, E. Reid
Aug.12, 1944 – May 29, 2009
In his 65th year, after a lengthy and difficult battle with cancer, Reid passed away peacefully in the presence of his loving partner, Lucy and his mother, Helen. Reid was predeceased by his father, Edward Curzon Dobell. He will be profoundly missed by Lucy and his mother Helen Toevs. He is survived by his brother James, nephew Christopher, and nieces Jennifer, Shannon and Alannah together with many friends. Reid successfully completed his post secondary education obtaining 2 degrees, including a law degree in 1969 at UBC. He was a student of the Law, a voracious reader, an avid sailor and energetic sportsman. Throughout his life his conduct manifested bravery, integrity, humour and tenacity.
