Reginald William WEBB

September 13, 2005

Reginald William

Born in Clover Bar, Alberta, July 18, 1927, taken home to rest September 13, 2005. He is mourned by his wife of 51 years, Shirley, his children Murray (Leanne) and Donna and his grandchildren Michael, Gordon, Lindsey and George. Also missing him are his brothers Jim (Nora) and Jack (Heather), his nieces and nephews, his good friend of 66 years, Jack Springford, the Wylies, the Robertsons, and many other close and loving friends made over a lifetime of being a great guy with an easy sense of humour and a gentle way.Reg was raised in Cloverdale and Langley, worked for BC Hydro in the Fraser Valley, and lived for over 30 years in Abbotsford, where he and Shirley raised their family, before moving to Vernon in 1994. He was a scout leader, a ball coach and a church elder. In his retirement he was always busy with renovations and projects (after his morning Tim’s). He was also the bravest man we know and pound for pound, the toughest.

The family thanks the Cancer Clinic at Vernon Jubilee, his doctors who have given him such attention and hope over the years, Gary and Marvin at Safeway Pharmacy, and the angels of mercy on 3 West who helped to make his passing gentle. In lieu of ?owers donations to the BC or Canadian Cancer Society or to Children’s Hospital would be appreciated.

You are invited to drop in to remember him Sunday, September 25, 2:00 - 4:30 pm at the Vernon Lodge.
