WATSON, Raymond William
George, late of Abbotsford passed away on March 27, 2009 at the age of 69 at the Royal Columbian Hospital. He is survived by his loving wife Dyane and his step-mother Marguerite. His nine children Charles (Laurelle), Brenda (J.P.), Caroline (Trapper), Danielle, Theresa (Bryan), Ronda (Kerry), Robert (Celisse), Clare (Tony) and Shawn (Jen). Ray was blessed with 26 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. Also lovingly remembered by his brother Bob (Tuey), sisters Laureen and Beth and many nieces, nephews, family and friends. Ray was predeceased by his parents Charles (Ally) and Ruth Watson, his in-laws Walter and Alice Kellough, his brother Ken and brother-in-law Ron.
Ray enjoyed spending his time with family, friends and his Mountain Park Community Church family. He currently was actively involved with his care group, the Abbotsford Senior Association and his latest passion wood carving.
A celebration of Ray's life will be held on Thursday, April 2, 2009 at 1:00pm at Henderson's Fraser Valley Funeral Home located at 34537 Marshall Road, Abbotsford with Pastor Cameron Stuart officiating. There will be refreshments served after the service in the Tea Room. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the burn unit at BC Children's Hospital.
