Raymond passed away peacefully in MSA Hospital on Sunday, January 27, 2008 surrounded by his family and friends. He is survived by his spouse Stephanie, their son Mark (Monica), sister Carolyn (Roger), niece Lisa (Mark, Cole and Paige), nieces and nephews and family in England. Raymond and his family came to Canada in 1975 and he worked with Alcan in Kemano for 20 years, retiring to Abbotsford in 1995. Raymond was a long-time model railway enthusiast and spent many hours building his model railway and models. He was a true gentle man and will be missed terribly by anyone who knew him.
Sincere thanks are expressed to the staff of MSA Hospital and to Dr. S. S. Gill for wonderful care and devotion. Friends have been so supportive and so giving of their time and attention to the family’s needs.
A celebration of Raymond’s life will be held at the ABC Restaurant, 32080 Marshall Road, Abbotsford at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, February 5. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to the MSA Foundation.
