December 8, 1944 - June 1, 2024
Our dear Dad, brother and uncle passed away peacefully on Saturday, June 1, 2024. Our hearts are heavy with missing him, but thankful that he now rests in the loving arms of Jesus.
Born in Lethbridge, Alberta, Randy moved to BC in the l960s raising his family in Langley and Richmond. He leaves behind two daughters and seven grandchildren: Lacey (Dave) and her children Portia, Tanner, Ryker, Cody and Bradley, and Kelsey and her children Tate and Autumn.
Randy had an inquiring and creative mind that was reflected in his passion as a radio disc jockey (eventually leading him to CFVR in Abbotsford) and his writing and illustration of a large collection of personal journals and studies. During his years in building maintenance at The Alliance Manor, he could fix almost anything.
But it was his character that defined Randy. He was generous and compassionate, always wanting to help anyone in need. This is the legacy he leaves for his family and the many people who were privileged to know him, that God's grace shines through those who truly care for others.
We especially wish to thank Dr. David Dueckman for his exceptional care. Also, our heartfelt gratitude to the many caregivers at Fraser Health who helped carry us and Randy through this journey.
Rest in Peace, Randy. We will always love you.
