In loving memory of
Pieter Peetoom
Pieter went to be with his Heavenly Father on Monday, July 11, 2005 after a blessed life.
He will be dearly missed by his wife of 63 years, Cathleen; his son and daughter-in-law Lenard and Leona; his four grandchildren Sherry (Devin), Dameron (Tanis), Heather (Trevor), and Brad; the Peetoom and Romeyn families, as well as many loving friends.
Pieter enjoyed a wonderful life here in Canada. He and his wife immigrated from Holland in 1950 and settled in Mission, BC. They successfully operated Peetoom's Florist and Greenhouses where Pieter was known to grow the best roses in town!
After retirement he and his wife settled in Abbotsford where Pieter continued to grow beautiful, award-winning gardens.
About eight years ago he and his wife moved into Cascade Community Court where they enjoyed the fellowship and community of many loving friends.
The Peetoom family would like to extend a special thank you to Dr. Collingridge and the caring staff at MSA General Hospital.
A viewing will be held at personal Alternative Funeral Services from 6:00 - 8:00 pm on Friday, July 15, 2005. A private family graveside service will be held. A memorial service will take place at Gateway Community Church at 1:00 pm on Saturday, July 16, 2005.
