We Celebrate the life of Patricia MacFarlane born July 28, 1945 in Montreal Quebec to Denis and Loretta Rodrigue. Patricia was their first born child to be later joined by Diane, Danny, Monique and Philippe. An active childhood included a wide range of activities and interests including horseback riding, ice skating, singing and playing the violin. Graduating from high school, she went on to business college where her aptitude and fully bilingual capabilities prepared her entry into the legal profession followed by successful ventures in land development and real estate where her entrepreneurial and people skills were well developed. She met and married James MacFarlane in Montreal, this loving 45 year Marriage saw the birth of their son, Timothy James whose life was enhanced by his sister Tanya and predeceased by daughter Andrea Loretta. Adored by her grandchildren Alexandria, Madison and Rebeka, Patricia delighted in preparing gourmet style family dinners where her interest, creativity and love of entertaining were at the heart of many memorable evenings. Her love of travel and facility with foreign languages enhanced her many trips abroad accompanied by husband James who shared her interest. Patricia was blessed with an engaging personality, beautiful smile and infectious laugh which made life so enjoyable to be in her company; coupled with a strong spirited character whose love of life will be an inspiration to all who knew, loved and will miss her. Please join the family, where all are welcome, in a celebration of Patricia's life Monday September 27th at 11 am St. Ann's Catholic Church, 3333 Mayfair Avenue to be followed by a reception.
