JANZ (nee Penner) Olga F.
August 11, 1920- July 17, 2010
Olga was born in Main Centre, Saskatchewan to a Mennonite family of 3 girls and 2 boys. Olga being the oldest had a lot of responsibilities early on helping out on the farm and in the home. In her early twenties she met the man of her dreams and married Hildor Janz. Together they pursued their dream in reaching others for the Lord in the ministry. Olga and Hildor went to Europe where they co-founded Janz Team Ministries and enjoyed 50 years of fruitful ministry. Mom's biggest part in that ministry was supporting her husband, loving and taking care of their 6 children and looking after their home. In her later years, she and Hildor returned to Canada and enjoyed spending time in their apartment in Abbotsford. They would take long walks and enjoy having coffee together at the local coffee shop. Olga will be greatly missed by her 6 children, 17 grandchildren and 24 great grandchildren. Her godly character, her love for God's word, and her commitment to prayer will always be a great example to her children and grandchildren. We invite friends to join the family in a celebration of Olga's life at a memorial service at 1:30 pm on Saturday July 24th, at Woodlawn Funeral Home, 2310 Clearbrook Rd, Abbotsford.
