It is with great sadness, we announce the passing of Scotty - husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and friend on June 5, 2008. He is survived by his loving wife Florence, daughters Anne (Wilber), Jineane, Gail (Cornelius), sons Dale (Evelyn), Neil, 10 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
A Funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 14, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. at Maranatha Baptist Church, 3580 Clearbrook Road, Abbotsford followed by a reception in the church. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made for a memorial communion table for Mapes Baptist Church. Donations can be left at the service or forwarded to Mapes Baptist Church, 11054 Blackwater Road, Vanderhoof BC V0J 3A1 in Scotty's name.
The family wishes to thank Dr. T. Loewen, his staff and the palliative care team who worked hard to maintain his comfort and dignity at home.
