Nora, born in McMahon, Saskatchewan on September 19, 1936. Died in MSA Hospital on December 9, 2004 of Lymphoma.
Nora was the daughter of Peter and Helena Martens. Her early years as a teacher were spent in Saskatchewan and Manitoba but the majority of her professional career was at the Mennonite Educational Institute in Clearbrook. She retired in 1995 after teaching for 35 years.
Nora is survived by one brother, Peter; three sisters, Helen, Daisy and Erna; and many nieces and nephews.
Memorial service will be held at 2:00 pm, Tuesday, December 14, 2004 at Ross Road Community Church, 3160 Ross Rd., Abbotsford, BC.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Abbotsford Food Bank.
