Born in Calgary on July 23rd, 1922, passed away in Lion’s Gate Hospital in North Vancouver on January 10, 2005, after a brief illness.
Marie was predeceased by her loving husband Don and son Guy. She is survived by her children, Brian (Mary), Suzanne, and Darcy, and by her grandchildren, Michelle, Trevor, and Ben. Marie’s family extends their heartfelt thanks and appreciation to the staff in ICU for their dedicated care and support. Marie returned to North Vancouver in May 2003 to be closer to her family and enjoyed time spent with her many old and new friends. Marie was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother who treasured her home and family. Marie will be sadly missed but lovingly remembered by all who knew her. There will be no funeral by her request. Any donations you wish to make in Marie’s memory may be made to a charity of your choice.
