Nina May Sullivan (nee Todd)
May 8, 1921 - September 20, 2017
It is with heartfelt sadness we announce the peaceful passing of Nina May Sullivan on September 20th, 2017 in Vernon, BC.
Nina was born on May 8th, 1921 in Abbotsford, BC. Nina had many different jobs during her life ranging from working the family dairy farm with her husband and children to working in the kitchen at the hospital.
She spent a lot of time in her later years knitting baby outfits for her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She had a passion for cross stitching, of which many people benefited from.
Nina is survived by her brother Hank Todd and his wife Marg, children Phil, Donna, Judy, six grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren as well as many extended family members.
Nina is predeceased by her husband Elwood, daughter Sharon, parents Harry and Loti Todd, sister Marj, and brothers Kenny, Hugh and John.
Cremation has proceeded and there will be a Celebration of Life held in Abbotsford at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Heart & Stroke Fund (4 - 1551 Sutherland Avenue, Kelowna, BC V1Y 9M9).
