Murray ANDERSON

July 20, 2006

After a courageous battle with heart disease, Murray passed away peacefully July 20,2006. Murray was born in Hannah, Alberta on December 31, 1923.  He served with the CPR Ferry Service, Forestry Service, and Canadian Army before meeting and marrying his wife of 59 years (Ruth I.M. Miller) in 1946.  They resided in Didsbury, Alberta where he owned and operated Didsbury Auto Body with partner Alec Coulter until 1967.  He then moved with his wife and family to Abbotsford, BC and worked for Campmobile then ICBC until his retirement.

Murray will be sadly missed by his wife (Ruth), son Terry (Abby), daughter Wendy (Loren) and his two loving grandsons, Ryan (Harmony) and Darrin (Pam). He is also survived by two sisters, Iris (Frank Swords) and Hazel Davidson as well as many loving nieces and nephews and friends. He will be remembered as someone who was always there to help out in any way ... fix the roof, build a room, repair your plumbing, fix your car and many, many other helpful talents that he seemed willing to share with all in need.

Murray's request was a private service with family only in attendance.
