Mrs. Eileen Elizabeth Fraser (McNeil), late of Mt. Lehman, passed away peacefully on November 12, 2007 at the age of 85.
She is survived by her daughter-in-law Linda McNeil, granddaughter Leanna McNeil (Blake), grandson James Chester McNeil (Tracey), great-grandchildren Landon, Thane and Liam, and her beloved cat Toni.
She was predeceased by her first husband Chester Smith McNeil, second husband Roderick Fraser, and only son James Alexander McNeil.
Eileen served as postmistress at Mt. Lehman for over 25 years. She will be sorely missed as a pioneer of her beloved Mt. Lehman Community.
A celebration of Eileen’s life will be held on Saturday, November 17 at 11:00 am from Mt. Lehman United Church, 6256 Mt. Lehman Road with Rev. Michael Collison officiating. Burial will follow at Mt. Lehman Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the ALS Society of BC, 119-1600 West 6th Avenue, Vancouver, BC V6J 1R3 in Eileen’s memory.
