Mr. Laurent (Larry) Gosselin, late of Abbotsford, passed away on October 17, 2006 at the age of 83 at the MSA Hospital. He is survived by his son Serge (Pirkko), brother Pierre of Montreal, his former wife Ethel of Lethbridge, grandchildren Dora Gosselin and her daughters Shinae and Denae Gorsalitz, Luc (Stephanie)
Gosselin and their children Madelyn, Caleb, Zack and
Isabelle, and Dawn (Matt) Thiessen.  Â
Larry was predeceased by his first wife Freda, his daughter Louise and her husband Real.
Larry worked for many years in Montreal as a draftsman/designer for Air Canada until 1973 when he switched gears and moved to Headwaters Ranch in Northern BC. After a couple of years on the ranch, he began working for Westcoast Energy as a technician and foreman. From there he retired to enjoy his passion for building, designing, gardening, and books.
We remember the ‘old man’ as a brilliant one, loving the challenge of a brain teaser, reveling in a game of chess.Â
A memorial service will be held on Monday, October 23, at 1:00 p.m. at Henderson’s Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to MCC.
