Mr. Frank Loewen, late of Abbotsford, passed away on April 4, 2007 at the age of 84 years at his home. He is survived by his wife Lorraine; children Peter (Marianne) and Mary; stepÂchildren Rob (Becky) and Laurie (Mike); 11 grandchildren; one great-grandson and sisters Helen (John) and Margaret (Frank). He was predeceased by his parents Jacob and Sarah; sister Nellie; brothers Aaron, George, Mose and Ben; and his first wife Kathleen.
Frank was born in Sunnyslope (Linden) AB. He graduated from the University of Alberta with an MEd; taught school and was administrator with the Edmonton Public School Board from 1946 to 1980. He served as Lieutenant with the Canadian Armed Forces from 1942 to 1945.
A Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday, April 17, 2007 at 4:00 p.m. from Calvin Presbyterian Church at 2597 Bourquin Crescent East, Abbotsford with Rev. Dr. J. H. (Hans) Kouwenberg officiating. Urn interment will be held at a later date.
