Milt spent his early years in Vegreville, Alberta before moving to New Westminster with his family. He served in WWII (with his brother Val) and returned to New West where he began a 38 year career at Pacific Veneer (Canfor Plywood), where he met his loving wife Betty. They were married in 1951, and settled in Burnaby to raise their family. Milt loved nature - especially birds, animals, and tending to his garden. He loved travelling with Betty and spending time at their recreational property in their retirement years. He also enjoyed cheering (and sometimes cursing) his favourite sports teams: the Canucks, Lions and Bluejays. Milton was a proud member of Royal Canadian Legion for over 60 years. A Memorial Reception will be held in his honour on Saturday, July 3, from 1-3 pm at 1288 Riverside Drive, Port Coquitlam, B.C. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society , Royal Canadian Legion #57 or #133, or the ALS Society of Canada.
