Mient (Nick) Born March 7, 1930 in The Netherlands and passed away peacefully on August 22, 2005 with his family by his side. He is safely in God’s loving arms. Lovingly remembered by his wife Wilma and his children John (Joyce), Jeannetta (Lloyd), James (Brenda), Rosalind (Paul), Russell (Debbi), Wayne (April) and Michael; 17 grandchildren, brother Tony and sisters Anne, Tina and Johanna. He was predeceased by his parents and his first wife Jenny. He was a long time member of Gateway Community Church serving as an Elder and on several other committees. He also served on the House Committee of Ebenezer Home. Special thanks to the staff of Ebenezer Home for their loving care during Dad’s short stay there. Also, thanks to Dr. H. Wiebe for his care. Viewing will be held at Personal Alternative Funeral Services at 3070 — 275A Street, Aldergrove, B.C., on Sunday, August 28, 2005 from 6:00-8:00 P.M. A Memorial Service will be held on Monday, August 29, 2005 at 11:00 A.M. at Gateway Community Church, 1951 McCallum Road, Abbotsford, B.C. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the BC Alzheimer Society.
