It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden death of MIECZYSLAW (MITCH) NOWAK on January 4, 2004 at Mission Memorial Hospital. Born in Dobrowa, Poland on December 2, 1924.
Mitch is survived by his wife of 29 years, Frances, daughters Mary (Rudy) Penner, Sophie (Doug) Anderson, son Mitchell (Faye), John, stepsons Allan (Eloise) Asselbora, Melvin Asselborn, 11 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
After his retirement from the District of Mission, Mitch spent much of his time gardening, fishing and travelling. His generosity, storytelling and gardening knowledge will be greatly missed by all his friends and family. No service by request.
