Mary “Jean” Leitch was born January 15, 1927 in Brandon Manitoba. Our beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and sister passed away peacefully after a very short stay at the Christine Morrison Hospice on Tuesday, November 21, 2006, surrounded by her family. She was preceded by her husband Ron Leitch (Oct 1996). They had 48 years together and have left 4 children Linda (Enzo), Michael (Patty), Beverley (Rob), Rodney, Cathy (Dale) and 9 grandchildren: Robert, Jason, Nicole (Wojtek), Michelle (Brent), Bryan, Kyle, Kelsey, Deanna, Ricky and one great grandchild, Kaytlin; sisters Shirley (Musgrove) and Dorothy (Snydal), and numerous nieces and nephews. Jean worked part time at Woodward’s Dept. Store until she retired at which time she and Ron tore down the Cabin at Lake Errock purchased in 1969 and built their retirement home were each of them were truly happy and content. Her greatest pleasure was when the family all got together for family dinners and Christmas. She will be greatly missed by all those that loved and knew her. There will be a Celebration of Life on Sunday, November 26, 2006 between 12 noon and 3 pm at the Bellevue Hotel, Banquet Room on N. Railway at the corner of 1st Ave and Grand in Mission BC. In lieu of flowers, donations in Jeans memory may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
