MARY GOODMAN

Mary Eleanor Goodman, passed away peacefully, January 31, 2004 at 98 years of age, at Menno Home, Abbotsford.

Mary was predeceased by her son, John Lyman in Feb. 2003.

She is survived by her daughter, Alexis (Douglas Jamieson), of Saskatoon; and her brother, James Taylor (Frances), of Abbotsford; her granddaughter and great granddaughter, Barbara Godin and Alexandra, of Tacoma, WA; and her step-children; Leo Goodman (Prudence), of Lehigh Acres, FL; Lorraine Haecher, of Hope, ID. She was predeceased by her parents, Lyman and Ida Taylor; brothers, John in infancy; Emerson and Joseph; her husband, John Alexander (Jack) Goodman; and her stepdaughter Mary Barta.

Mary lived in the Cranbrook area until her marriage in 1929 to Jack Goodman when they moved to Lumberton, B.C. and then to Kelowna in 1939. She relocated to Abbotsford in 1984 after her husband's death. For the past 10 years Mary was a resident of the MSA Manor and then the Menno Home for the past 18 months. A brief service of remembrance will be held at Calvin Presbyterian Church, 2597 Bourquin Crescent East, on Saturday, February 7th at 2:00 p.m.

The family would like to thank MSA Manor and the Menno Home for their excellent and compassionate care.
