DYCK; Mary (nee Peters)
In loving memory of Mary who passed away peacefully on March 6, 2015 at the age of 91 at Abbotsford Regional Hospital. She is survived by her husband John; children Harold (Trudy) Dyck, Gordon (Ellen) Dyck, Betty Dyck and Melinda (Dyck) Gauthier; 7 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; 1 sister; 1 brother; and many other family members and friends. She was predeceased by her parents, 1 brother-in-law and 2 sisters-in-law. Mary was born May 15, 1923 in the Ukraine and immigrated to Canada while in her early 20's. She married John not too long after, learned English while the kids attended school, and was always a hard worker; honest, kind, faithful and fun loving to keep up with her children. She was an avid gardener and was known for her beautiful sewing projects; knitting and she loved playing cards. A celebration of her life will be held Friday, March 13 at 11:00 am at Eben-Ezer Mennonite Church, 2051 Windsor St., Abbotsford.
