Passed away in Mission, British Columbia, on Saturday, Sept. 04, 2010. She was born in Douglaston,
Saskatchewan, December 01, 1915, to John and Mary Warriner. BELOVED wife of Stanley Walter Downes (deceased June 11, 2010). Sister to Robert Warriner(now deceased) and Jean Warriner of Regina Saskatchewan.
Sister in law to Walter and Kathryn Downes, Vera (and Mel now deceased) Holden, Ruby (and Owen now deceased) Amundsen. BELOVED mother to Richard and Sidsel Downes, Mission, B.C., Ted and Christine Downes, Peterborough, Ont.(both deceased) and Cathy Goerz, Comox, B.C. BELOVED grandmother to Stephanie and Kevin Fons, Calgary, Alberta, Toby and Mike Blaga, New Westminster, B.C., Timothy and Sarah Downes, Roseville, California and Terry Downes and Jennifer, of Bancroft Ont. GREAT GRANDMOTHER to eight lovely great grandchildren.
Mom was a beautiful woman, graced with loyalty and devotion to her husband and family. A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, October 8, at Sovereign Grace Baptist Church, 8134 Hyde St., Mission, B.C.. Rev. Darryl Savage will officiate.
