Mary June Blocha, late of Abbotsford, BC, formerly of Biggar, SK passed away peacefully after a short illness on December 23, 2016 at the age of 84 at Abbotsford Regional Hospital. She is survived by five children: Doreen Blocha (Bob Hujdic) of North Battleford, SK, Doug Blocha (Bev Labbé) of Spruce Grove, AB, Greg Blocha (Bernadette) of Biggar, SK, Colleen Laventure (Laurie) of Biggar, SK, Mona Hollenbeck (Rick) of Abbotsford, BC; 11 grandchildren, 11 great grand- children, brother Jim Keogan (Rose) of Battleford, SK, Sheila Pickett of Biggar, SK, sister-in-law Elsie Kindrachuk of Saskatoon, SK, brother-in-law John Jantzen of Langley, BC and numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Joe Blocha in 2005. A Funeral Mass was held on Wednesday, December 28, 2016 at St. Ann’s Parish in Abbotsford, BC. Mary was an active member of the CWL, the honour guard and was an avid churchgoer. She was a loving mother and grandmother who will be dearly missed.
