Mary J. Arkesteyn born March 7, 1920, passed away peacefully at home on December 30, 2003 after a long struggle with ALS.
Mary was formerly of Pitt Meadows. She was predeceased by her son Leo in 1983, 2 brothers and 3 sisters in Holland. Mary is survived by her loving husband Frank of 56 years; 7 children; 18 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren as well as a large extended family in Holland.

Mary was a member of St. Luke's Roman Catholic Church of Maple Ridge for 36 years and currently a member of St. Ann's. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, January 6, 2004 at 11:00 a.m. from St. Ann's Roman Catholic Church, 33333 Mayfair Avenue. Interment to follow at Musselwhite Cemetery.
