MARJORIE FULLER

June 21, 2004

With great sadness we announce the passing of our wife/mother. Marjorie Fuller passed away at 6:30 a.m. on June 21, 2004.

Mom (Marjorie Hellen Hobbs) was born in Swift Current, Saskatchewan on June 4th, 1915, the third of four children. On Dec 31st 1938 she married Donald George Fuller in Regina. Mom was predeceased by her son Edward Fuller, granddaughter Heather Foreman, brother Arthur Hobbs, sister Dorothy Boyd, and Beatrice Suchy, and her parents Elizabeth and Albert Hobbs. Missing her always are her loving and devoted husband Donald Fuller, her daughters Jane (Mike) Szucs, Peggy (Laurie) Black, donna (Dennis) Ellah, Lauretta (Don) Gordon, Leslie (Ernie)Lessing, and all 11 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.

There was no place Mom would rather be than in her garden pulling a weed or planning where to put that new flowers she just adopted from a friends garden. Friends of all ages would come over for a pot of tea and some cookies, pie or cake that she had just baked, and of course a good chat. Mom and Dad had a great many friends and it was never a surprise to find the tea on and people sitting at the kitchen table. Many times Mom gave up her sleep to rock one of her girls that had an earache at night or rub the legs that were having growing pains, maybe she rubbed the wrong way because none of us grew very tall. Mom also had an affection for animals. She would wrestle with the young bull calves, adopt mean geese, and nurse newborn puppies back to health.
