Marjorie (nee Williams) Blanchard arrived peacefully into the arms of her Lord and Savior on July 17, 2007 at the age of 54 years. Marjorie courageously faced each day with faith during her battle with breast cancer. Left behind to celebrate her life are her soulmate and husband Dave; 4 beautiful daughters: Lori-Ann, Connie, Nadia, Amanda; her 8 beautiful grandchildren whom she adored: Noah, Cameron, Tayah, Cassandra, twins D.J. and Emma, Jonah, and her 4 week old granddaughter, Stella; her father Howard; her mother Jean; sisters Sandra and Carol Ann; brothers Kevin, Clyde, Brian, Steve, and Jason; countless nieces, nephews and her tremendous extended family and friends. Marjorie was always a contented person and it showed as she was always humming or singing. Marjorie was a big hearted person, very hospitable and giving. She served everyone whom she befriended and especially served God. Her love, compassion, and dynamic personality will always be remembered. The family would like to thank Dr. Newton, Dr. Klimo, and the staff at the Oncology Dept. at Lion's Gate Hospital, the Abbotsford Cancer Society drivers, MSA Hospital and especially to the nurses David and Gerri (3 west). Your compassion and professional care is much appreciated. There are other people too numerous to mention that we say thank you to. A Celebration of Marjorie's life will be held on Friday, July 20, 2007 at 11 am at Abbotsford Christian Assembly on 3970 Gladwin Road in Abbotsford, BC. Flowers will be graciously received at the church.
