It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved Mom and Nana. On September 10, 2010, Marion Kemp passed away at the age of 81 with her family by her side. She is survived by her son, Stephen (Trish), daughter Susan (Garth), daughter Marion (Brad), seven grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren. Also survived by her brother, Jim (May), and numerous family and friends both in Canada and the U.K. She is predeceased by her loving husband of 46 years, Stanley (“Tim”) Kemp. Marion was an amazing woman with an enormous capacity for love and the ability to connect with others that very few possess. Her greatest joys in life were her family, her volunteer work, and the simple pleasure of chatting with people she met in her daily travels. Those who were lucky enough to know her were instantly captured by her warmth and kindness. A memorial service will be held for Marion at Woodlawn Funeral Home, 2310 Clearbrook Road, Abbotsford, on Friday, November 12, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. All are welcome to share in the celebration of this incredible woman.
