Marilyn Anne (nee Stewart), born in Alberta, July 19, 1945, passed away peacefully on December 3, 2005 after a five year battle with cancer. Marilyn will be fondly remembered and greatly missed by husband and confidant Alan, after 22 years of marriage; son Shawn and wife Robynn and their daughter Soleil of Comox, BC; son Craig and wife Joy and their children William and Kara of Fort Saskatchewan, Alberta, and son Scott and wife Jenn of Winnipeg, Manitoba. Also survived by mother Eleanor Stewart of Three Hills, Alberta; sister Faye (Taz) Urano of Taber, Alberta; brother Gerald (Joy) of Qualicum Beach, BC; and sister Trudy (Franklin) of Portland, Oregon.
The "Celebration of Marilyn's Life" service was held at Sevenoaks Alliance Church in Abbotsford, 2575 Gladwin Rd. at 1:00 pm on Thursday, December 8, 2005. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Marilyn Cadwell Scholarship at Columbia Bible College in Abbotsford, BC. The family's wish is that Marilyn's legacy and love for others will continue through this scholarship.
