Marie (Maria) late of Tabor Home, passed away peacefully into the presence of her Lord and Savior, with her family by her side on Wednesday, July 20, 2005 at the age of 86.
She was predeceased by her husband Clarence Friesen in 1997, her parents, her brother Simon and sisters Helene and Betty. She is survived by 5 children; Wesley (Luella), Henry (Beatrice), Gerald (Dale) all of Abbotsford, Wayne (Chris) of Kamloops and Sharon (Brian) Penner of Kelowna; by 12 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren; 3 sisters Edna Bergen of Abbotsford, Esther Smith of Barrie, Ontario and Ruthann (Mark) Thompson of Courtenay, BC.
Funeral service will be held on Monday, July 25 at 10:30 am in West Abbotsford Mennonite Church, followed by interment at Maclure Road Cemetery. If friends so desire, donations may be made to World Vision or Far East Broadcasting in Marie’s memory. She will be sadly missed by her family and many friends.
