Margo passed away in Abbotsford after a short and courageous battle with lung cancer.
She is predeceased by husband Arthur and daughter Annie. Margo will be remembered with love by children Steve (Anndraya), Marlene and Carolle (Dave) and by grandchildren Janel, Laine (Darian), Raeleen (Kyle) and Mack. She will be greatly missed by sister Monique, brother Jos, several nieces and nephews and many friends and neighbours.
Margo was born in Normandin, Quebec. She married Art, the love of her life, in 1958. They lived in Quebec, Chicago, Prince George,
Everett WA, Victoria, West Africa, East Africa and Mission, before retiring to Abbotsford.
Over the years, Margo enjoyed sewing, cooking, bowling, gardening and winemaking, and in later years, she became an avid quilter, even belonging to the Abbotsford Quilters' Guild. Margo had a fantastic sense of humour and enjoyed a good joke to the very end.
A very special thank you to the staff and volunteers at Holmberg House for their amazing care and compassion. The family invites you to a Celebration of Life on November 9, 2019, 11 am at Henderson's Funeral Home, 34537 Marshall Road, Abbotsford. Refreshments to follow in the tearoom.
