Margery McCausland (Manning)

Margery passed away quietly at the age of 93 years in her home in Maple Ridge, BC surrounded by her entire family and several close friends. Margery was predeceased by her 2 husbands, Hartley Ewert Manning, Henry Albert Penner and her dear friend and companion Victor Ames, son John Douglas Manning, granddaughter Joyce Mill Marr and best friend Lucille Mill.
G.G. is survived and lovingly remembered by her daughter Joan Marr, her grand children Suellen Marr and Victor Larsen, Paul Marr, Robert and N. Joyce Marr. She is survived by her great grandchildren Jennifer, Scott, Kori, Rob, Lacey, Andrew, Martin, Alex and great niece Martha. She will be missed by her numerous friends but especially Julia Myles, Barry and Debbie Alexander, Ron and Shirley Chapman, the Ames sisters, Vera Thompson, Barb Guitard, Lillian and the many friends at the Abbotsford O.A.P. Margery was a Register’d Nurse and devoted her entire nursing career working and caring for children. A very special memorial service will be held on Friday, September 16, 2005 at 1:30 p.m. at Hazelwood Cemetery, Hazelwood Avenue, Abbotsford, BC. A reception celebrating our Mother, Grandmother, Great Grandmother and dear friend’s life, will follow in her home in Maple Ridge, BC. In lieu of flowers or gifts a donation to Vancouver Children’s Hospital would be appreciated.
