It is with great sorrow we announce that Marg, our loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend passed away peacefully on May 23, 2008 at the age of 56 years, after a brave battle with cancer. Marg is survived by her loving husband of 24 years, Al; three children; Lynn (Henry), Lisa (Mike) and Nikki; grandchildren Jenna, Joseph and Lucas; mother Mary; sister Caroline (Larry); brother Eddie (Lynn); nieces, nephews; and many other family members and friends here and abroad. She is predeceased by her dad Monty. Marg was born July 6, 1951 and raised in McConnell Creek before moving to Mission. She worked as a Teacher's Aide for over 20 years with the Mission School District and was a dedicated volunteer for the Mission Hospital Auxiliary for over 21 years. Marg was a member of the Mission Genealogy Club and her family was her priority and passion. The family would like to thank Dr. Michael O'Brien of Mission for his dedication, care and compassion. A celebration of Marg's life will be held Friday, June 6 at 2:00 p.m. at Northside Community Church, 33507 Dewdney Trunk Road, Mission. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the charity of your choice.
