Margaret Christina (nee Urquhart) passed away at MSA Hospital in Abbotsford, BC on April 24, 2005. She was born in the District of Partick in Scotland on February 11, 1905 and came to Canada in 1910. Margaret married Arthur Kelcey on June 28, 1935 and they resided in Moose Jaw, Sask. for nearly 40 years until they relocated to Abbotsford, BC in 1973. For the past seven years Margaret has been an active resident at Bevan Lodge. She recently took part in 100th year celebration of her life with her family and friends.
Margaret was predecease by her infant son Douglas, husband Arthur (Art); three brothers (Alexander, Gavin, and Jack) and one sister (Mary Conway). Margaret will be lovingly remembered by daughter Jackie Carson (Alan); granddaughters Jodi and Cherilyn (Andrew Thornhill); great granddaughters Madeline and Olivia; sisters Ursula Fryklund and many other relatives and friends.
A private family service will be held. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.
