Born May 8, 1923, passed away on October 22, 2008, at Royal Columbian Hospital in New Westminster, BC. Lydia was predeceased by her first husband, Jake Derksen and her daughter, Gwen, five brothers and one sister. She is survived by her husband, Harold Strobel; her son, Wally Derksen and his wife Anita; her son-in-law, Chris Supeene; daughters, Sharon and her husband Willis Bright and Carol and her husband Denver Anderlini; her grandchildren, Carla, Sarah, Alison, Michelle, Kayla and Tyler and her great-grandchildren, Darian and Marcus, as well as many nieces, nephews and dear friends. A Memorial Service will be held at 1:30 pm on Tuesday, October 28, at Sevenoaks Alliance Church, 2575 Gladwin Rd., in Abbotsford. Rev. Jack Diamond & Rev. Jack Schroeder will officiate.
