It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of our beloved wife, mother, grandmother and great "Grandma Lou". She is survived by her loving husband Arne, children Rita, Melodie, Todd (Jacqueline), Rory (Reena); grandchildren Michelle (Chris), Brandon, Miranda (Sig), Aaron, Michael, and Dorothea; five great grandchildren, all of whom she adored; sisters Dot and Flo. She is predeceased by her siblings Bob, Bill, Jim, Ollie and Tom.
Lucille passed away peacefully with her family around her, returning the love she had always given us. Lucille was generous to a fault, kind to everyone she met, and exhibited the kind of internal strength that inspired all that knew her. She was the heart of our family and will be dearly missed and eternally remembered by all those lucky enough to know her.
A Celebration of Lucille's life will be held on Tuesday, March 17, 2009, at 2:30pm at Valley View Funeral Home, 14660 72 Ave, Surrey. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be greatly appreciated by the family.
