Lois Mary (Loewen) Voth

Lois Mary Voth, age 55, died of a heart attack on March 14, 2017 at her home in The Suites at Pleasant View, in Mission, BC. Lois is survived by her 5 beautiful children: Lisa (Voth) Sears of Kamloops, BC, Jeremy Voth of Grande Prairie, AB, Adam Voth of Enderby, BC, Cecilia Voth of Kelowna, BC, and Victoria Voth of Lumby, BC. She leaves behind 3 gorgeous grandchildren: Stephanie and Samantha Sears, daughters of Lisa and Nick Sears and Jacob Voth, son of Jeremy Voth. Her brother, John Loewen resides in Abbotsford, BC. She will be missed by her two nieces and one nephew. Lois was born on April 28, 1961 in Garden Bay, BC to Henry Dray and Minnie Solberg, as Gay Solberg. She was then adopted by her parents Abram and Mary (Unger) Loewen. All of her parents precede her in death. Lois graduated from Abbotsford Senior Secondary in Abbotsford, BC in 1979. She married Clifford Abe Voth on October 12, 1979 at South Abbotsford MB Church and divorced after 24 years of marriage. Lois was a caring and loving woman. Lois enjoyed reading, spending time with her children and grandchildren, volunteering at MCC in Mission, working the Christmas Kettle during the holidays, eating her favourite Dairy Queen treat, and socializing with her many family members and wonderful friends. A Celebration of Life is scheduled for Lois on Saturday, March 25, 2017 at 1:30 pm at Woodlawn Funeral Home, 2310 Clearbrook Road, Abbotsford, BC. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Lois’ life. Lois will be laid to rest with her birth mother in Seaview Cemetery near Gibsons, BC on Sunday, March 26th during a private burial by her five children, son-in-law, daughter-in-law and 3 grandchildren.
