Lillian May BEESTON

We sadly acknowledge the passing of Lillian May Beeston at MSA Hospital, Abbotsford, B.C. on May 22, 2007 predeceased by her husband and a daughter. She was born November 27, 1910 in Snowflake, Manitoba.

Always a positive and cheerful person with a zest for life, she was a great role model for her family and maintained a good sense of humour to the last. A very caring person herself, she certainly appreciated all the visits and cards from friends and family during her stay in the hospital. They meant a great deal to her.

Lillian, one of the founding members of Matsqui OAP, Branch #69, remained an active member until quite recently.

Surviving family members are ‘son’ Rod, daughter Janice, grandchildren Peter, David, Jennifer, Jon and his fiancé Mirna as well as many nieces and nephews in Alberta, Manitoba and Ontario. She will be sorely missed not only by family but also by any who knew her.

The family wishes to convey their thanks and appreciation to the nursing staff on 3 West for their care and concern.

A celebration of life team is planned for June 9th to be held in the common room at Royal Oaks, 32910 Amicus Place, from 2 – 4 p.m..
