Left to mourn are his wife Bebe; son Lyle (Gertie); stepchildren Lorraine, Cathy, Lori, Beatrice and Shirley; 10 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren, 24 great great grandchildren, sisters Phyllis, Jean, Helen, Kay; brother Ray and other relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his first wife Mary Rose; son Lloyd; daughter Joyce; brothers Edward and Joseph and sisters Mickey and Joan. Leon moved to Abbotsford from Saskatchewan in 1923. He worked at the milk plant and the Attangard Hotel before joining the Provincial Highway Maintenance crew in Mission where he worked until his retirement in 1976. After his first wife passed away in 1991 he met Bebe and they married in 1993 and moved to Princeton to a new home built by his grandson Todd. They moved back to Abbotsford in 2003 where they have lived since. He enjoyed hunting and fishing with his brothers and later with his son and grandsons. A memorial service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers donations to Christine Morrison Hospice in Mission would be appreciated.
