WALL, LENA
Lena Wall passed away on September 28, 2008. She was born January 31, 1924 in Russia. She passed from this life resting in the assurance of her salvation in Jesus.
Lena married a widower, John Wall, with 3 children in 1964 and they had another child together in 1966. She was devoted to her family and loved to knit and crochet table cloths and blankets and give them as gifts especially to her grandchildren, as well as crocheting many washcloths to give to MCC. Lena became very ill on September 23 and deteriorated very rapidly. The family is very grateful to the nurses and staff of the Tabor Home for the excellent and loving care given to their Mom to the end. She is mourned by her daughter Erna; son Ben (Marlene); son James; 12 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; and 2 great-great grandchildren. The Memorial Service will be held on Monday, October 6, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. at King Road MB Church in Abbotsford. In lieu of flowers, donations in Lena's memory may be made to Family Life Network.
