KLEIV, KNUT BARNEY
It is with great sorrow we announce the passing of Knut Barney Kleiv on Sunday, July 27, 2008 at North Battleford, SK. Knut was born on April 20, 1921at Evesham, SK. He grew up in the Macrorie District, SK – joined the Armed Forces at 21, serving from 1942 – 1946. After the War, he moved to Matsqui, B.C. Knut will be dearly missed by his loving wife Mildred, five step-children: Joe, Millie, Keith, Earl, Tammy and spouses; eleven grandchildren amd nine great-grandchildren; two brothers: Ernest and Thor (Margaret) and numerous nieces and nephews. A Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday, August 27, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. at Evangelical Lutheran Church, 5781 Riverside Road, Matsqui Village, B.C. with Rev. Bob Byhre officiating. Interment will follow at Hazelwood Cemetery. Memorial Donations are requested to The Heart and Stroke Foundation or to Evangelical Lutheran Church.
