THOMSON, Kent Joseph
Born February 23, 1970 in Kelowna, BC, passed away peacefully on February 20, 2011 in Mission, BC after a courageous battle with brain cancer. He was surrounded by his loved ones. Kent is survived by his loving wife, Tamara; stepson, Austin; parents, Cecil & Marie Thomson, brothers, Kevin (Barbara) & Todd (Loreen) and sister, Michelle (Doug) as well as many nieces, nephews, extended family members and dear friends. Kent was well respected in the construction industry and a long standing member of Local 1611 Construction & Specialized Workers Union. Kent's quick wit, humor and dedication to family and friends will never be forgotten. He will forever be loved and cherished by all who knew him. Funeral services were held on Friday, February 25, 2011 at St. Ann's Catholic Church. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Kent may be made to Lionsgate Chemotherapy Unit or the Christine Morrison Hospice in Mission.
