Passed away peacefully at the Menno Hospital in Abbotsford in the early hours of August 14. Predeceased by her husband Michael Gass; her sisters Anna, Olive and Hazel; her brothers Edwin and Donald. A lifelong resident of Matsqui Prairie, Kathleen will be deeply missed by her loving children, Rita (and Gerry), Ken (and Marian), Nora (and Peter), Ron (and Jan) and Brenda; her grandchildren Jennifer, Brian, Cheryl, Michael, Edward and Miranda; her great-grandÂchildren Jesse and Courtney; as well as nephews, nieces and many friends and neighbours.
The family would like to thank the dedicated staff at Menno Hospital for their warm and loving care.
A Funeral Service will be held at Henderson’s Funeral Home, 34537 Marshall Rd., Abbotsford, on Tues., Aug. 21 at 1:00 p.m. with interment and reception to follow. (Viewing will be held on Mon. Aug. 20 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Henderson’s.) An additional Memorial Service will be held at the Matsqui Lutheran Church, 5781 Riverside St., Abbotsford on Mon., Aug. 27 at 1:00 p.m.
