Katherine Schmidbauer (nee Apfelbeck) lovingly known as "O’ Mommy" peacefully passed away on June 17, 2005 at the age of 98. She was born on June 16, 1907 in Viehaussen, Germany. She is lovingly remembered by her grandchildren Carmen, Bill, Tony, Sherri, Grant, Deanna, Donna, Paul, and Robert, and 18 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great-grandchildren, sister-in-law Anna Schmidbauer (Germany), nieces Ellie Schmidbauer (Germany) and Marerl Sandoe (Pennsylvania), and nephew Michael Frank (New Jersey).
She was predeceased by her husband Anton and two sons Paul and Erich.
Prayers will be held on Wednesday, June 22 at 7:00 pm at St. Ann’s Parish at 33333 Mayfair Avenue, Abbotsford. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, June 23 at 10:00 am with Father Robert Wong S.J. Celebrant. Burial will follow at Hazelwood Cemetery.
