Katherine late of Vancouver, passed away in the presence of her Lord on Saturday, December 3, 2005 at Braydon Hospital in Vancouver. Katherine was born in the Ukraine in 1910 and emigrated to Canada in 1924. She graduated as a Registered Nurse in 1938. Katherine owned and operated a nursing home in Kitchner, Ont. from 1951 and moved to BC in 1960. Katherine was certified, in BC in 1965 as a RN. Her nursing career was at Shaughnessy Hospital from 1972 until her retirement. She was a life long member of the Mennonite Brethren Church. She will be lovingly remembered by her son Bill Stewart, granddaughter Karen Stewart, and daughter-in-law Joanne Nelson. Katherine inspired many, served all and loved Jesus.
Predeceased by her sister Susana Reimer.

Funeral Services will be held on Friday, December 9 at 12:00 noon from Bakerview MB Church. Reception to follow. Burial will be held at Valleyview Cemetery, Surrey, BC.
